The Department of Respiratory Rehabilitation is a leading center that specializes in weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. We cater to individuals who were unable to successfully be weaned from ventilation during their stay in intensive care units. Our department’s purpose is to restore the respiratory system and other systems in the patient's body, according to their medical condition.
Treatment in our department is provided by a multi-professional team that includes senior doctors, an experienced nursing team with extensive clinical and academic training, a team of skilled auxiliary staff, physical therapists, an occupational therapy team, a communication therapist, psychologists, a medical secretary, and a social worker. We strive for quality and excellence in medical and nursing care and are here to accompany the patient throughout their hospitalization, respecting their dignity and rights.
