Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Sheba is renowned as a center of clinical and academic excellence. Our highly skilled multi-professional team includes dermatologists, nurses and auxiliary personnel, who collaborate to provide personal attention and optimal service to hospitalized patients.

The department offers treatment for a wide array of skin conditions including psoriasis, allergic rashes, urticaria, eczema, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis, skin reactions to drugs, infectious skin diseases, chronic ulcers, Leishmaniasis, blistering skin diseases, autoimmune disorders, and genetic disorders. It also treats skin tumors that include, among others precancerous skin lesions, cutaneous lymphomas, and melanomas.

The department offers a day hospital service and a physiotherapy institute for advanced treatments on an outpatient basis (with no need for hospitalization). These treatments are tailored to meet each patient's needs, and appointments are available at convenient hours.

The department engages in extensive research on dermatological conditions and their treatment. As part of their academic endeavours, department physicians provide guidance and training to medical students and dermatology interns, while department nurses mentor nursing students.
