The General Intensive Care Department specialises in treating highly complex patients and injuries, many of whom have multi-system damage.
Our department's diverse team of professionals brings extensive expertise in managing highly challenging medical scenarios that demand ongoing monitoring and prompt intervention when needed. To achieve this, we utilise cutting-edge equipment and advanced technological resources to safeguard the wellbeing of our patients.
Apart from the medical team, the department includes a physiotherapist, a social worker, a dietician, and an occupational therapist. Furthermore, we collaborate with specialists across different departments at Sheba Medical Center to ensure patients receive the most precise and effective treatment available.
Alongside the professional treatment, our key aim is to ensure the process is as smooth as possible for patients and for you, the family members, during this challenging period.
