Our clinic's staff carries out a thorough evaluation of elderly patients, a multidisciplinary process aimed at assessing their functional capacity, physical and mental health, and socio-economic status.
The assessment helps our team identify risk factors for functional decline and find ways to treat them, aiming to prevent or delay the deterioration process as much as possible.
In studies evaluating the efficacy of this assessment, it was discovered that it resulted in a significant enhancement in the diagnostic accuracy of patients' functional and cognitive abilities. Additionally, there was a notable decrease in medication consumption and utilization of hospital services.
The service is provided to patients after hospitalization in geriatric wards, inpatients referred from other departments in the hospital, patients referred from the health funds, as well as those who apply privately.
