For your information, we accept financial commitment forms (Form 17) of all health funds. If you do not have a commitment form, you can pay for a doctor's visit according to the Ministry of Health rate.
The endocrinology clinic in the obstetrics and gynecology department offers services to women experiencing hormonal imbalances within the fertility axis, which can affect the normal maturation and fertility processes of the ovaries. Additionally, our clinic provides various hormonal therapies for women.
The HPG axis (Reproductive Endocrinology), encompasses: the hypothalamus, an area of the brain responsible for secreting GnRH, the pituitary gland that secretes FSH and LH, and the ovary that secrete the sex hormones, namely estradiol and progesterone.
As part of the clinic, we offer women treatment for a range of issues that can affect the normal functioning of this axis. These may include:
- Primary or secondary amenorrhea
- Absence of ovulation, polycystic ovaries
- Acne, related to hormonal imbalances
- Endometriosis
- Pain during menstruation
