The Marion and Eli Wiesel Pavilion for Treatment Support (Beit Wiesel) is a center within the pediatric Hemato-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant array. Here, we provide supportive treatment for children with cancer and their families. We prioritize the family's wishes and consent, offering round-the-clock escort services. Our doors are open to patients from across the country and around the world who require our care.

At Beit Wiesel, we specialize in providing supportive care throughout every stage of the disease, from diagnosis to recovery. Our approach aims to reduce physical and mental suffering, improve the quality of life, and help individuals cope with the disease. We are here to offer hope for a good life.

There are three types of hospitalizations: medical treatment, balancing severe symptoms (alongside medical treatment), and supportive care at the end of life where the family feels they do not want or cannot be at home with the sick child. If the child and their family prefer to receive treatment at home, the Beit Wiesel staff, in collaboration with the treatment units in the community or hospice care, will provide professional and personal support. Throughout all types of hospitalization, a therapeutic continuum is maintained between the hospital, the community, and the home.

The Beit Wiesel staff provides professional, dedicated, and compassionate care to children. They work closely with parents and support families during the bereavement phase. The team consists of around 16 senior doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, art and music therapists, teaching staff, family counsellors, and complementary therapists.

The tenderness and love in Beit Wiesel is also expressed in the special design of the building. It is located outside the children's hospital to allow separation from the hospital atmosphere, but close enough to provide immediate access to top-notch medical care when required. It is surrounded by an enchanting garden with a waterfall and has a courtyard that offers privacy and a homely ambiance. In addition, it includes five hospitalization units built as small apartments, fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. Each apartment features a separate area for the patient's bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom, a parent’s corner, a computer, a TV, and a balcony with garden access. Patients and their families can also enjoy a leisure and games room as well as a cinema room.
