Michal Yalon, M.D Ph.D

Dr. Michal Yalon is a pediatric hemato- and neuro- oncologist at the Safra Children's Hospital at Sheba. She completed her medical degree and a Ph.D. in molecular biology at the Technion, and specializes in pediatric brain tumors.

Dr. Yalon completed fellowships at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and the Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC. She is currently conducting clinical trials in the safety and efficacy of Nimotuzumab (TheraCIM) in pediatric patients with recurrent diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma; and the study of Tarceva and Rapamycin for recurrent low-grade gliomas in children with or without neurofibromatosis type I (NF1).
