The rehabilitation clinic is managed by certified nurses who specialize in the field of rehabilitation. We offer services to individuals with various disabilities, including neurological, orthopedic, and congenital conditions. When you visit our clinic, we will conduct a functional assessment to understand your needs. Based on the assessment, we will provide guidance, training, and advice to assist you.


Areas of responsibility

  • Assisting in identifying the optimal equipment for your needs
  • Conducting a comprehensive assessment of your current equipment, encompassing wheelchairs, seating cushions, and mattresses. Suggesting alternative options, if required
  • Ensuring the preservation of skin health and the mitigation of potential injuries
  • Delivering guidance on the prevention of pressure ulcers and burns
  • Offering professional advice on suitable apparel and footwear selections


Urinary System

Assessment of current habits, guidance on fluid intake, and adjustments to emptying schedule.
Instruction on catheterized bladder emptying, highlighting the importance of infection prevention, whether performed by a caregiver or independently.

Guidance on bladder emptying in different positions, such as sitting, wheelchair use, toilet use, or lying down.
Additional training on techniques like the "Trigger" and Créde maneuver for efficient emptying.

Measuring urine residuals when necessary, utilizing sonar technology. Ensuring optimal function of the collection system - urinal and funnel. Education on urinary tract infection prevention, detection, and intervention.

Incorporating regular monitoring, including urodynamic assessments and ultrasound examinations.


Nutrition

Providing guidance for different dietary needs, enrichment, fluid intake, and addressing individuals who are underweight or overweight.
Offering guidance on adapting diet as part of the discharge plan.


Bowel movements

Evaluating current bowel habits and recommending suitable therapeutic interventions.
Offering guidance on regulating bowel movements according to individual patient requirements.


Sexuality

Supporting the resumption of sexual activity.
Educating and advising on various types of contraception.
Helping patients cope with sexual issues.
Referring patients to specialized doctors as necessary.
Offering couples counseling and facilitating referrals to specialists if required.


Medication

Understanding the drug treatment: indication for administration, side effects, interactions between different medications.
Specific guidelines such as blood tests for medication levels, monitoring liver function, and more.


Pain assessment

Collecting data about pain: location, types of pain, characteristics, frequency, intensity, impact on quality of life.
Addressing the existing pharmacological treatment.
Addressing non-pharmacological treatment.
Referring to expert consultation for treatment customization as needed.


Training of carers (in activities that do not require approval from the Ministry of Health)

  • Personal treatment with emphasis on the patient's needs, safety, and prevention of complications
  • Mobility inside and outside the house
  • Taking care of wounds

  • Guidance on personal treatment


Leisure and quality of life

Facilitating patient engagement in various activities, even with limitations, such as physical activity and social networks.
Providing helpful guidance, suggestions, and practical advice for creating an optimized and user-friendly computer work environment. Utilizing assistive devices and accessories to enhance personal improvement, and facilitating referrals to specialists when needed. Providing information on support networks and various forums for social gatherings tailored to the patient's interests.
