The Occupational Therapy Unit for Head Injuries Rehabilitation provides care for individuals who have suffered an acquired head injury, including brain events and diseases like aneurysms, tumors, and inflammations, during the acute stages following the injury.
The goal of our unit is to help patients achieve maximum independent functioning in the areas that matter most to them, using advanced technologies. Following a thorough assessment, a personalized programme is devised, encompassing functional, cognitive, motor, sensory, and behavioural therapies, visual function treatment, and adjustments of support aids and splints. Our team comprises certified occupational therapists skilled in rehabilitation therapies.
