The Occupational Therapy at the Attention and Learning Clinic for Children is operates as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes an occupational therapy clinic (B.O.T, M.O.C.C.H) and parental counseling. They are specialists in the field of attention and learning with experience among neurodevelopmental populations.

The patients are children and adolescents aged 6-18 with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, and additional neurodevelopmental difficulties such as Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and Sensory Modulation Disorder (SMD).

The assessment involves a joint session with a psychiatrist and the occupational therapy clinic to map out the child's functional challenges. The diagnosis distinguishes these issues from other emotional and behavioural issues, leading to a detailed diagnosis. Practical advice is given to both parents and the child to help improve daily functioning. Doctors at the clinic can recommend an individual assessment that involves standard diagnoses, observations, and questionnaires for parents and educators. Its purpose is to identify the child's functional challenges in daily life and their specific areas of activity.

Treatment follows a biopsychosocial approach that focuses on pinpointing problems and supporting the child in enhancing their everyday life, behaviour, school performance, and social skills. It also helps them manage a routine with less stress and fewer challenges. It offers personalised therapy options designed for both the child and the family. To treat attention and concentration issues, methods like the COG-FUN and POET approaches are used, focusing on boosting executive functions.
