The Outpatient Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Sheba Medical Center provides a range of advanced medical services across various specialties. Our clinic combines extensive clinical expertise, innovative technologies, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals. As a leading center for treating complex conditions, we offer comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, and follow-up services in a professional and patient-centered environment.
Clinic Services:
• Emergency Treatment:
We receive patients who are referred from the emergency room or who arrive in emergency situations during the clinic's operating hours
• Scheduled appointments:
We conduct examinations and diagnoses for patients who have scheduled appointments in advance. This includes planning and making referrals for any necessary further surgical procedures or surgeries under general anesthesia.
• Surgical treatments in the clinic:
We perform surgical treatments in our clinic based on pre-arranged appointments, following a preliminary examination that can be conducted in person or via telemedicine. Procedures offered include surgical extractions, soft and hard tissue biopsies, exposures of impacted teeth, removal of tumors or cysts, installation of implants for certain patients , among others.
• Service for IDF soldiers:
We provide specialized treatment for soldiers in compulsory and permanent service, in cooperation with military medical authorities.
• Telemedicine - Remote medical services:
Through the Sheba Beyond platform, we offer telemedicine services that enable remote consultations in appropriate cases: Mainly referrals for surgical extractions and surgical procedures, providing biopsy answers in some cases, providing answers to departmental discussions. Appointments are coordinated by the clinic secretariat. Patients must send in advance a formal referral from a referring physician from the community, including filling out a designated departmental form that is forwarded by the secretariat and sending up-to-date X-rays.
