The main focus of our unit is cardiac catheterization, which includes procedures like angioplasty, opening blockages, closing heart defects, and treating various heart and vascular conditions in patients from infancy to adulthood. Our skilled team of experts perform these procedures under anesthesia, using state-of-the-art equipment.

Echo via transesophageal ultrasound
These tests are particularly useful in operating rooms and surgical preparation. They allow our medical team to evaluate surgical outcomes during the procedure itself, providing invaluable data that regular ultrasound cannot provide. With this device, we can also perform tests on infants and children who are not undergoing surgery, allowing for a more accurate diagnosis of any potential issues. The test is performed under general anesthesia.
Fetal echocardiography
Fetal Echocardiogram Test
The team at our unit conducts tests to detect fetal heart defects in pregnant women. In some cases, we collaborate with the gynecological ultrasound department to perform these tests. Our aim is to provide support and guidance, especially in situations where pregnancy termination is being considered due to heart defects.
