The Pediatric Neurology unit is a leading unit in the country, providing general neurology services. It includes an epilepsy clinic that offers EEG and video EEG services, ketogenic diets, rhythms and waves, unique treatments for refractory epilepsy, neuropsychological services, social services for patients, and psychiatric services for adolescents. It also has a multi-disciplinary neurogenetic clinic, a service for advanced genetic testing for neurological diseases (WES), and specialized clinics for specific conditions such as Rett syndrome, Tuberous Sclerosis, Angelman syndrome, Ataxia Telangiectasia, and follow-up of premature infants and infants with a complicated perinatal course. It also provides MRI follow-up for children who have undergone complex cardiac surgeries.

The medical professionals in our unit possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders, including ataxia, dystonia, congenital chorea, genetic and acquired disorders. Additionally, they have significant experience and proficiency in the field of vascular care, encompassing pediatric ischemic events and stroke in infants and children. The unit collaborates with various specialists in the hospital, such as blood clotting experts, neurointerventionalists, and pediatric rehabilitation specialists.

The unit's team has a strong track record in managing clinical trials for innovative drugs and treatments. All of the unit's physicians actively engage in both clinical and basic research in their respective areas of interest.
For several years, the unit has been widely recognized for its role in training pediatric neurology fellows in partnership with the Child Development Institute at Sheba Medical Center.
