Post-polio syndrome (PPS) can present in adults who've previously been affected by the polio virus. After being stable for a while, they might start experiencing fatigue, have less stamina, notice muscle weakness, or feel pain because of joint issues or bone changes (like scoliosis).

Together with our experienced medical team and cutting-edge technology, we offer a wide variety of services: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy, speech therapy, psychology, sexual rehabilitation, and orthopedic fittings for devices and shoes, among others.

A doctor who specializes in neurological rehabilitation handles both diagnosis and treatment. For more complex cases, intensive treatment is offered in a day rehab setting, so there's no need for an overnight hospital stay.

In our clinic, we mainly focus on assessing post-polio patients, but we also offer services for individuals dealing with chronic neurological disabilities and conditions that arise from aging processes:

  • Assessment by a rehabilitative orthopedics specialist.
  • Assessment by a rehabilitative neurology specialist.
  • Physiotherapist assessment of activity and mobility.
  • Occupational therapy assessment of personal function and adaptation to work and home settings.
