Pediatric Brain Cancer
Pediatric brain tumors have the highest death rate of all childhood cancers. Survivors often experience poor quality of life due to neurological disorders, retardation or psychological problems.
The major focus of our research program is moving from the child's bed to the bench at the lab and the rapid translation of scientific discoveries at the bench to the bedside to benefit patients.
Through collaborative work of researchers and physicians we aspire to improve therapeutic approaches and outcomes for hard-to-treat brain tumors and accelerate pediatric translational brain cancer research by molecular profiling and clinical care convergence.
