The Psychiatric Day Hospitalization department is an intensive care unit that prioritizes group and individual care. We offer support in crisis and distress situations without the need for full hospitalization. This approach ensures the utmost preservation of the patient's life course.
Our team includes psychiatrists, nurses, a psychologist, a psychotherapist, a social worker, a cognitive behavioral therapist, along with art an occupational therapy clinics.
Who is Psychiatric Day Hospitalization for?
- Patients aged 18 and above, who are able to attend treatment five times per week. The patient population comprises individuals experiencing crisis or exacerbation of various psychiatric disorders and diseases, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric conditions.
- Patients from the Ministry of Defense, the IDF and health funds are referred to the department.
Psychiatric Day Hospitalization is not suitable for treatment in the following cases: patients who are physically and/or verbally violent towards other patients, staff or property; patients who harm other patients or interfere with normal conduct; patients with active suicidal thoughts; patients who aren't willing or interested in participating in treatment; those undergoing drug or alcohol withdrawal.
