Our Services:
Neuropsychological diagnosis
Comprehensive neuropsychological diagnosis
Diagnosis that involves evaluation of cognitive functions, emotional symptoms and emotional functioning. This evaluation is widely recognized by committees for determining disability percentages, courts, as well as the Ministry of Education and the Council for Higher Education as a crucial tool in determining the extent of brain damage and the necessary adjustments in learning methods and exams.
Neuropsychological diagnosis focused on cognition
A more concise diagnosis (than the comprehensive version) focusing on the evaluation of central cognitive functions. It is typically used as a basis for determining the goals of neurocognitive therapy and as an aid to the treatment team.
Rehabilitative psychological treatments
Mental-rehabilitative treatment
A treatment that addresses changes in the experience of self resulting from illness and disability. Topics covered by the treatment include: accepting the disability, maintaining self-image despite the disability, and reintegrating into various aspects of life (relationships, parenting, and employment).
Focused mental-rehabilitation treatment
Treatment according to a research-based protocol focusing on the mental diagnosis of the person with the disability/illness. For example, trauma-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapies for depression and anxiety.
Neurocognitive therapy
Treatment aims to address cognitive decline resulting from head injuries or neurological diseases. Interventions include: treatment of memory, attention, and executive functions. Treatment involves the practice of compensation strategies and their integration into daily activities, as well as raising awareness of the cognitive impairment and its functional and communicative consequences.
Medical treatment and advice
Treating individuals with disabilities or illnesses involves addressing physical and mental aspects. One of the advantages of the rehabilitation psychologists' clinic is the option to consult specialized physicians from Sheba, such as psychiatrists, rehabilitation doctors, and pain specialists.
