At the Hearing, Speech & Language Center, our communication clinicians specialize in diagnosing and treating hearing, language, speech, and swallowing disorders across all age groups - from infants to seniors.

In the field of hearing and balance, our institute's clinicians conduct comprehensive functional evaluations of the hearing and balance system. We also provide consultation, treatment, and auditory rehabilitation using cutting-edge technologies like hearing aids, bone-anchored devices, and cochlear implants.

The institute's clinicians are also there to help with the diagnosis and treatment of communication, language, speech, and swallowing disorders. These can include issues with communication and language development in both preschool and school-aged children, speech fluency disorders like stuttering or slurred speech, voice disorders, as well as swallowing disorders across all age groups.

Our patient population includes outpatients (ambulatory) and those who are hospitalized in the general hospital, children's hospital, and rehabilitation hospital.

The Hearing, Speech & Language Center at Sheba is the largest and leading institute in Israel, and we're proud to be at the forefront of the field of communication disorders. Our team of about 50 first-class speech therapists are passionate about what they do. Our senior team consists of leading clinician-researchers in the field, many of whom are faculty members at the Department of Communication Disorders at Tel Aviv University and have an international reputation.
