The Surgical Oncology Clinic specialises in treating cancer patients through the surgical removal of cancerous tumours.
Oncological surgery stands at the forefront of cancer therapy, playing a vital role in operations conducted at Sheba. Surgical removal of cancer tumours is collaborative effort, involving surgeons, oncologists, and radiotherapists. Through our multi-disciplinary discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration, Sheba’s teams work together to provide patients with the best possible chance of recovery.
Our surgical oncology team employs cutting-edge techniques to treat cancer, including hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) inside the operating room, the administration of aerosolized chemotherapy directly into the abdominal cavity (PIPAC), and intraoperative radiation. Soon, our team plans to enhance their treatment approach by introducing hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy.
The oncological surgery team at our clinic welcomes cancer patients eligible for tumour removal surgery and is committed to providing comprehensive care and follow-up until full recovery.
