The Neufeld Cardiac Research Institute was founded with the goal of promoting innovative and future research in the field of cardiovascular diseases. The institute is affiliated to Tel Aviv University, where doctors and scientists collaborate in basic and applied research to understand the mechanisms and develop treatments for cardiovascular diseases. The institute has pioneered several innovative imaging technologies in the management of myocardial infarction and heart failure. Additionally, independent studies conducted at the institute focus on primary and secondary prevention, as well as the treatment of heart diseases.

The Tamman Cardiovascular Research Institute, operating as part of the institute, runs a collaborative program in heart regenerative therapies, together with researchers and doctors from Israel and around the world. Our research includes tissue engineering, imaging, nanomedicine, and molecular methods to develop breakthrough approaches for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases.

The Institute is also actively involved in teaching and guiding students, including research students, medical students and specialized doctors.

The research conducted at the Institute is presented at prestigious international conferences, receives awards, extensive media coverage, and is published in top scientific and medical journals.
