Our multidisciplinary team at the Voice and Throat Clinic consists of speech therapists and experts in the field. We offer consultation, diagnosis and treatment of defects, inflammations, diseases of the throat and the voice. Voice treatments are provided within the Hearing Institute by a team of speech therapists.
1. Evaluation of vocal capabilities in children and adults.
2. Stroboscopy tests, glottography, laryngeal aerodynamics of the throat and acoustic analysis.
3. Surgeries for unilateral or bilateral paralysis of the vocal cords (such as: thyroplasty, fat injection into the vocal cords).
4. Surgery to alter the voice tone and throat appearance.
5. Surgery on the vocal cords for both benign and malignant lesions, using "cold" surgery and laser technique.
6. Botox injection for spastic hoarseness (spastic dysphonia).
7. Voice therapy is provided by speech therapist teams within the Hearing Institute.
