In the day hospitalization unit, patients receive various treatments like chemotherapy, blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, IV immunoglobulins, antibiotics, and monoclonal antibodies. Our unit offers biopsies, bone marrow aspirations, and cerebrospinal fluid evaluations. Immunotherapy treatments such as donor lymphocyte infusions are also administered for treatment of malignant diseases.
The unit provides a special service for long-term monitoring of transplant patients, working together with other units and clinics at Sheba. Additionally, the clinic organizes workshops for patients and hosts support groups.
