The Center for Immunotherapy and Advanced Cellular Therapy is a pioneering clinical and research facility dedicated to providing cutting-edge cellular therapies for children with malignant and hematological diseases. We work closely with the Ella Lemelbaum Immuno-Oncology Institute, the hematology laboratory, clinicians from various fields, and external companies.

Cellular treatments manipulate blood cells, especially those belonging to the immune system, giving them new properties which can be used to fight diseases such as cancer. Techniques like genetic engineering and genetic editing play a key role.

CAR T-Cell Therapy is a cutting-edge cellular treatment that re-educates the immune system cells, empowering them to attack cancer cells. This therapy is particularly effective against all kinds of leukemia and B-type cellular lymphoma.

The Center for Immunotherapy and Advanced Cell Therapy stands among the world's top medical centers for treating leukemia and lymphoma with CAR T. It also actively engages in clinical and laboratory research to further advance its development.

Another cutting-edge cellular treatment, available exclusively in Israel, involves the enrichment of cells with mitochondria (the organelles responsible for energy production in the body's cells).  This treatment is intended for individuals diagnosed with rare diseases that involve defective mitochondrial function, such as Pearson's syndrome, which can lead to anemia and damage various body systems. The treatment involves extracting stem cells from the patient's bone marrow and enriching them with mitochondria from the patient’s mother.
