Problems concerning sexual function can indicate physical or emotional/relationship barriers, or a combination of both. This is why sexual therapy adopts a comprehensive approach, integrating expertise from the fields of medicine, behavioral sciences, and paramedical sciences.

Therapy focuses on addressing challenges in sexual and intimate functioning, helping individuals improve the quality of their sexual lives.

Sex therapy takes place in an individual or couples setting.
Common problems treated by the center
Lack of libido, discrepancies in desire and sexual satisfaction among partners, pain disorders, erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation, and orgasm disorders. Additionally, we provide treatment for issues concerning the capacity to establish intimacy, confusion surrounding sexual or gender identity, maladaptive sexual fantasies, sexual addiction, and problematic sexual behaviors.
About the center
The Sheba Center for Sexual Health is a comprehensive and interdisciplinary facility dedicated to addressing sexual function disorders in both men and women. Our range of therapeutic options encompasses physiological and medical approaches, as well as emotional and couples-based interventions.
The center boasts a team of exceptional staff members in their respective fields: expert urologists, gynecologists, rehabilitation specialists, sex therapists (sexologists), couple therapists, pelvic floor physiotherapists, psychotherapists, and other specialists. They work together seamlessly, with the aim of tailoring the treatment to each patient's specific needs.
