The investigation encompasses a detailed patient history (anamnesis), completion of specific questionnaires, and includes a physical examination, a residual urine test, a Uroflow urine test, ultrasound to determine the prostate size, followed by urodynamics testing and cystoscopy. At the end of the investigation, the patient receives a personalized treatment plan from the variety of existing treatments. If required, patients are referred for surgery at the urology pre-surgery clinic.
