Our clinic offers psychological care for babies and toddlers, from newborns to 3 years old. We're here to help with emotional challenges which may manifest as increased crying, sleep or eating difficulties, and challenges in managing emotions and behaviour.
The clinic addresses challenges in parent-baby bonding and trauma-related scenarios such as accidents, hospital stays, divorces, and the loss of a loved one. It also offers support in ongoing situations, such as a parent's chronic illness, a child's illness, or difficulties in parenting abilities.
Our therapeutic approach focuses on taking a broad look at the baby's environment, with special emphasis, on their relationships with the key people in their lives - like their mother and father.
How is the treatment performed at the clinic?
The clinic's team includes professionals from the fields of developmental psychology, paramedicine, and medicine. They offer a holistic psychological treatment approach that focuses on nurturing the relationship between the baby and their parents. Should the need arise, parents receive supportive counseling, alongside complementary paramedical and medical interventions.
How does one gain entry into the programme?
Upon getting in touch with us, you'll receive an invitation to submit Form 17, which precedes the two evaluative meetings. These sessions end in the formulation of a personalised treatment plan. The assessment process involves a detailed interview with the parents, potentially including questionnaires, and the observation of interactions between parent and child or among the family unit. The duration of treatment is flexible, tailored to the specific challenges and needs identified.
