Clinic for Supportive Care of Patients with Advanced Heart Failure

The Supportive Care Clinic focuses on several topics:

●    Managing symptoms. With a focus on non-cardiac symptoms such as pain, depression, sleep disturbances, nausea, loss of appetite, and more.

●    Dealing mentally with the disease and how the family adjusts and organises in response to it.

●    Fostering discussions on understanding the disease, its management, and the goals of care. These will be conducted as needed.

●    Access to community resources and medical services like home care units or hospice, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and others.
