The institute's staff closely monitors patients suffering from varying degrees and severity of heart failure severity, providing personalized treatment plans. Patients also receive genetic counseling, as needed. Genetic counseling is also available when needed. Our team collaborates with expert doctors in different specializations to ensure comprehensive medical follow-up, including the attending physician in your community.
The institute's doctors are cardiologists, specializing in heart failure, who have received residency training at renowned centres in the United States. Our nursing staff underwent special training to provide exceptional care for heart failure patients, including additional training in intensive care. Our team also includes a clinical dietician, a friendly social worker, and a supportive psychologist.
Inpatient department
Patients whose condition has deteriorated or those requiring extensive treatments or investigations that require full hospitalization are transferred to a specialized wing for heart failure patients within the cardiology department. The inpatient unit also receives patients in need of surgical interventions, including heart transplants. Here, they undergo a thorough assessment to determine their suitability for these procedures, in close collaboration with the doctors from the cardiac surgery department. Patients with suitable medical conditions are referred to a unique program of controlled physical training at the Cardiac Rehabilitation Institute.
Day hospitalization
Our day hospitalization unit is designed to enhance the quality of follow-up and treatment of patients for patients experiencing severe heart failure, with the goal of preventing prolonged and repeated hospital stays. In our day hospital, we admit patients who require close medical and nursing monitoring, along with intravenous administration of heart-supporting medication. The duration of treatment is determined based on each patient's progress and improvement.
