Dermatology and Venerology Clinics at Sheba are a hub of clinical and research excellence, serving around 25,000 patients each year. Our dedicated clinics specialize in various skin diseases, staffed by a team of highly experienced dermatologists.
Patients at our clinics are dealing with various skin concerns that are not addressed within the community and require thorough evaluation, specialized tests, and advanced treatments. Examples of medical conditions treated at the clinic: eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and baldness, leishmania, diagnosis of skin tumors including melanoma and lymphoma of the skin, skin allergies, nail fungus, acne, urticaria, autoimmune diseases of the skin, pemphigus, skin side effects of drugs, pigmentary lesions, skin diseases in organ transplant recipients, and skin diseases in children.
In cases in which a skin condition requires intensive treatment that cannot be provided at home, patients are referred to the dermatology department for hospitalization. Our department also offers a day hospitalization service and a phototherapy institute, where advanced treatments can be received on an outpatient basis, tailored to the patient's needs and convenient schedule.
We also run multidisciplinary clinics that bring together experts from different fields of medicine in collaboration with dermatologists. This includes a clinic for complex patients with skin cancer in cooperation with the Departments of Plastic Surgery and Oncology, and a dermatology-rheumatology clinic in collaboration with the Center for Autoimmune Diseases.
