Our clinic serves families and their children aged three to six, who face developmental challenges rooted in emotional issues. These may include encopresis, selective muteness, problems with sleeping and eating, attention and concentration issues, behavioural difficulties, and trouble regulating emotions, among others.

The clinic's staff includes experienced psychologists and doctors who, when necessary, are supplemented with complementary paramedical and medical treatments.

The clinic places special focus on working in the child's natural environment and operates from a developmental-relational perspective. We believe the bond between a child and their parents is incredibly important and has a huge impact on the child's development at all levels.  That's why we see parent involvement in treatment as not just beneficial, but vital for its success.

When you contact the clinic, we'll have an initial conversation and send you some questionnaires to learn about your background and see if we're a good match. Then, we'll have a few sessions to assess the situation, which will include talking to the parents, watching how you and your child interact, and having you fill out some more questionnaires. The goal here is to tailor a treatment plan that works for you.

At the clinic, treatments are carried out in sessions that can include mother-child, father-child, both parents and child, or just parental guidance. The type of treatment you'll receive is decided by the psychologist after your evaluation.

For both the evaluation and the treatments, you need to arrange a Form 17. The length of the treatment depends on the specific problem and any needs that arise.
