The Department of Hand Surgery at Sheba Hospital offers a specialized and exceptional clinic service. Our clinic for hand surgery and microsurgery unit provides diagnosis and treatment to patients with upper limb injuries, diseases, and nerve injuries. We also offer post-operative care and follow-up until full recovery. Our well-equipped treatment room and cast room are staffed by a highly skilled nursing team, comprising of nurses and casters.
On average, the clinic examines around 1,200 patients every month, including babies, children, and adults. It serves patients on an outpatient basis, providing guidance to the emergency rooms and inpatient departments of the hospital. Additionally, it collects extensive patient data for research, continuous improvement, and holds collaborative discussions involving multiple teams and disciplines, particularly for patients undergoing surgery. This allows for peer oversight and ensures the selection of safe and appropriate treatments for each individual.
Patients are kindly requested to bring along a commitment form (Form 17) from the health fund, as well as any medical documents including photographs, test results, disease summaries, and imaging. Please note that imaging needs to be integrated into the hospital system beforehand, at the rapid integration station located at the imaging institute. Thank you for your cooperation!
