The Sheba Center of Excellence for Liver Diseases stands as the nation's largest facility dedicated to liver diseases. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to liver medicine, and serve as a pioneering leader in the field that integrates advanced treatments, education, and research under one roof. Our goal at the center is to achieve excellence in clinical care, research, and education.
The Liver Diseases Center is home to clinics, a clinical unit equipped with 8 beds for outpatient care, a clinical research unit where new drugs are tested before being introduced for patient treatment, state-of-the-art testing and treatment laboratories, and a research laboratory.
The Center excels in providing extensive medical support and excellent availability. The waiting time for clinic appointments is minimal, and you can reach out to a centre physician 24/7 for telephone support.
You can easily connect with our experts through video calls, from the comfort of your home. To schedule an appointment, give us a call at 03-5307001 or drop us an email at kaved@sheba.health.gov.il, mentioning your interest in online consultation.

Liver Disease Research
Alongside the center, we have a basic research laboratory that investigates the causes of liver diseases, the processes involved in different liver conditions (like fibrosis/cirrhosis), and their link to various clinical symptoms. Our lab shares research discoveries at conferences worldwide and publishes articles in medical literature.
