Plastic surgery of the eye and eye sockets

The Institute Plastic surgery of the eye and eye sockets in Sheba Medical Center is one of the top centers for diagnosing, treating, and researching eyelid disorders, tear ducts, and eye sockets. We are a major hub for doctors in Israel and around the world, and are at the forefront of breakthrough research in the field.

Our unit engages in close and fruitful collaboration with other units in the Ophthalmology Department, such as the cornea clinic, neuro-ophthalmology unit, and the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Unit. We also work with other departments including oncology, imaging, otolaryngology (ENT), mouth and jaw, neurosurgery, general reconstructive surgery, and infectious diseases clinic. The institute also operates several specialized clinics, including the paediatric oculoplastics clinic, and the lacrimal duct clinic in conjunction with the ENT department. In addition, we also manage a clinic for movement disorders involving the eyes, in conjunction with the Institute for Movement Disorders, as well as a thyroid clinic in conjunction with the endocrinology department.

We treat all disorders and diseases related to eyelids, tear ducts, and the eyeball socket. This includes the following:
