Our Services

Diagnostic chest scans:

Regular scans: clarification of acute and chronic diseases, tumor location and grading, evaluation of treatment response and follow-up, clarification of pleural and mediastinal disorders, and congenital defects.

Targeted scans, including CT angiography, to assess the possibility of dissection or rupture of the major blood vessels, investigation of pulmonary artery blood clots, detection of congenital malformations in the blood vessels. This service is provided in collaboration with the chest imaging and invasive radiology units.

Assessment of coronary artery calcifications. This service is provided in collaboration with the Heart Rehabilitation Institute (Dr. Shemesh).

Diagnostic scans for the abdomen and pelvis:

Clarification of acute and chronic abdominal pain, tumor detection and grading, evaluation of treatment response and follow-up, investigation of causes of persistent fever, detection of abscesses, demonstration of enlarged lymph nodes, and detection of urinary tract and reproductive system of diseases.

Triphasic imaging of processes in parenchymal organs such as tumors in the liver and pancreas.

Colonography tests: virtual colonoscopy visualizes the colon cavity and identifies polyps or other abnormalities in individuals undergoing screening or in cases where traditional colonoscopy is unsuccessful.

Trauma.

Skeletal scans.

Tumors in the skeleton and soft tissues.

Invasive operations - in collaboration with the invasive radiology unit.

Diagnostic puncture of abscesses and other fluid loculations. 

Abscess drainage

Diagnostic biopsy of lumps and other processes.

 The unit provides comprehensive training for doctors, radiologists and medical students incomputed tomography. Our doctors conduct daily or weekly X-ray meetings with doctors from other departments including internal medicine, surgery, oncology, hematology, gynecology and gastroenterology. We also engage in academic activity that includes further training and research work across the computed tomography field.
