At the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Clinic, we diagnose and treat eye diseases in children and strabismus in both children and adults. Our clinic is staffed with experts in various subfields of ophthalmology, including retina, cornea, uveitis, neuro-ophthalmology, eye tumors, glaucoma, and oculoplastics.
The evaluation at the clinic is carried out at different stations. During each visit, guidance is provided at the reception to direct you to the relevant stations based on your referral. Occasionally, all stations are visited, which may require additional tests. Please note that this might result in a wait time of about 40 minutes, extending your visit. Once you have completed the stations, you will have a conversation with the treating physician who will explain the findings, discuss further treatment options, and provide information on follow-up.
Affiliated pediatric clinics operate under the clinic, each specializing in different areas like pediatric ophthalmology, retinal care, genetic eye conditions, strabismus, and visual impairment. We also collaborate closely with other pediatric departments, providing expert guidance on eye examinations and treatments. Our partnerships include the hemato-oncology and bone marrow transplantation department, the rehabilitation department, the visual impairment and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) department, and the child development institute. Additionally, we take pride in educating students, residents, and specialists in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
