Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Sheba’s pioneering Plastic Surgery department is the longest standing in Israel. Our dedicated team covers all aspects of reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery, including procedures for adults, children, microsurgery, post-weight loss surgeries, Mohs and melanoma surgeries, chronic wounds, lasers, gender affirmation surgeries, and more.

We utilise cutting-edge techniques, often unique to Israel, for the treatments and surgeries conducted within our department. Within our department, we perform the largest number of microsurgical operations for breast reconstruction, Mohs surgeries, and laser procedures in Israel. We are the only department authorized to perform gender affirming surgeries. Our department also houses the national Burn Centre in Israel, which delivers specialised care for burns.

The department team consists of senior specialists in plastic and aesthetic surgery with extensive experience, fellows, a nursing team, physiotherapists, and a psychologist. All have considerable knowledge and experience in the field of plastic surgery and burns, and some have participated in humanitarian missions to treat disaster victims abroad. Our team members strive for professional excellence while at the same time providing compassionate care to our patients.
