Facial Deformities Clinic

Facial Deformities clinic is held once a month on Wednesdays.
 




Operates as part of an Integrated Practice Unit (IPU), involving maxillofacial surgeons, ENT specialists, plastic surgeons, pediatricians, geneticists, speech therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and pediatric dentists.

This clinic treats children with various facial deformities, including cleft lip and palate, micrognathia (reduced and receded lower jaw), breathing and swallowing difficulties, hearing issues, and facial asymmetry.
 
The vision of the Sheba Medical Center in treating children with congenital, acquired, or developmental facial deformities and anomalies reflects a commitment to providing holistic, multidisciplinary, and long-term care. The aim is to support children and their families from the earliest stages of life through adulthood, through collaboration between a variety of medical, surgical, rehabilitative, and psychosocial specialists.

This multidisciplinary approach includes:
