The Noninvasive Cardiology Unit has a long-standing tradition of excellence and innovation. We take pride in pioneering new imaging technologies and setting high standards for tests in this field in Israel.

Echocardiography tests in the unit are performed using the most advanced technology and are stored digitally in diagnostic quality. Saving them allows for comparison, future review, or the creation of copies, and they can also be presented optimally at expert meetings.

Tests performed in the unit:

  • Echo and Doppler - a safe diagnostic test that uses sound waves to create real-time images of the heart and blood flow.
  • Stress Echo Test - the test combines echocardiography with a stress test on a treadmill or with a drug (dobutamine) that simulates stress. The test provides information about blood supply to different parts of the heart muscles and the overall heart function during exertion.
  • Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) - this test allows for a detailed imaging of the heart from a short distance with good quality, and provides an opportunity to examine additional details beyond a regular Doppler echocardiography.
  • Electrical Cardioversion after a TEE examination - a service provided to patients suffering from atrial fibrillation.
