The Post-bariatric Service aims to address issues related to excess skin and body shape changes following significant weight loss through diet or bariatric surgery. These procedures are intended to eliminate surplus skin and fat resulting from weight loss.

After having bariatric surgeries - like sleeve surgery, ring surgery, or gastric bypass surgery - the patient can't eat as much as they did before and they lose weight significantly. After the significant weight loss, the skin tissues are left hanging on the body without the excess fat.

Excess skin can accumulate in areas like the face and neck, arms, breasts, stomach, buttocks, thighs, and even on the back.  These skin folds are not only aesthetic, they can also lead to functional issues. Plastic surgery enhances both appearance and function by eliminating excess skin discreetly through well-concealed incisions.
